Please note. Our meters are calibrated at the factory prior to being shipped to us. It is not necessary to calibrate your meter when first testing. However, it is a good idea to check your meter yearly to ensure continued accuracy.

So no where did any videos talk about putting in a solution just the code stick so is this a step all meters need before they work correctly? Or what
The code strip will need to be used every time you get a new vial of ketone strips. The control solution will be needed at times when you want to recalibrate the meter. There may be times you feel your ketone meter needs adjustment, and that is the purpose of the control solution. We have both glucose control solution and ketone control solution, so you may need both, depending on what you test.

Great question. Your meter can't be adjusted. If there is an issue with the meter not reading the control solution correctly you can reach out to us and we'll get a replacement out to you. That is covered under our lifetime warranty.
