Ingredients for Keto Fudge Brownie
Flour:
Flour is an essential ingredient that is used in the brownie. Instead of using regular flour, go for almond flour because it’s gluten-free and without grains.
You can also use coconut flour in combination with almond flour for an even richer taste. The coconut flour is good for digestion and also stabilizes blood sugar levels.
Almond flour, on the other hand, is rich in minerals and antioxidants that reduce the risk of diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
Chocolate:
The taste of brownies will be determined by the quality of the chocolate. We will use baking chocolate and cocoa powder in this recipe. For a rich taste, we recommend using dark chocolate.
Dark chocolate is a keto-friendly ingredient but it’s important to monitor your portions. Choose dark chocolate having 70% cocoa solids because they are reasonably lower in carbs. It contains about 10g of net carbs which is perfect for the keto diet.
The carb content of chocolate with less than 70% cocoa is likely to be higher and may not fit into your carb allowance. If you love the taste of sugar-free chocolate chips, you can also add them to the brownie batter.
Sweetener:
It's not easy to choose the right keto sweetener. Using a powdered sweetener such as Erythritol makes things sweet in the simplest, safest, and tastiest way. It melts into the brownie batter and gives them just the right amount of sweetness and moisture
